INGAT ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how the INGAT Chrome extension handles your data.

We don't collect any personal data.
We don't track your browsing activity.
We don't store your data on any servers.
Your API key stays on your device.

Data We Process

Product Reviews

When you visit a Shopee product page, INGAT fetches product reviews directly from Shopee's public API. These reviews are sent to your chosen AI provider (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, or Groq) for analysis. The reviews are processed in real-time and are not stored by INGAT.

API Keys

Your AI provider API key is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API (chrome.storage.sync). The key never leaves your device except when making API calls directly to your chosen AI provider. We never see, access, or store your API key.

Analysis Results

Analysis results are cached locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) for 30 minutes to prevent redundant API calls. This cache is stored only on your device and is automatically cleared.

Scan History

Your recent scan history (last 10 products) is stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time from the extension popup.

INGAT sends product reviews to your chosen AI provider for analysis. Each provider has their own privacy policy:

Data Security

All data is stored locally using Chrome's secure storage APIs. Communication with AI providers uses HTTPS encryption. We follow Chrome extension security best practices including Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions.

Your Rights

You can at any time:

Clear your scan history from the extension popup
Remove your API key from extension settings
Uninstall the extension to remove all stored data

Children's Privacy

INGAT does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The extension is intended for general audiences who shop on Shopee.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
